Back to turning the train into my home office today. 🚆
Laptop open, notebook full, and my head even fuller.
Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg for HCP Sense.
This leading trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps has expanded by an entire exhibition hall this year. Energy efficiency is the central theme, extending all the way to cooling data centres for AI applications.
One thing became clear in almost every conversation:
Compressors, pumps, and fans all rely on bearings – yet many people only start thinking about them when it is already too late.
💡 Refrigerant can dilute the oil, and the lubricating film may be missing during start-up, setting the stage for bearing damage. On top of that, the transition to new refrigerants driven by the F-Gas Regulation and the ongoing PFAS debate is changing lubricant requirements and miscibility. In many cases, there is still limited practical experience with how these changes affect bearings.
Vibration- or temperature-based warning systems may remain silent until it is too late to prevent bearing damage.
🎯 That is exactly where we come in: We measure the lubrication condition directly inside the bearing instead of waiting for vibration signals to reveal that damage has already occurred.
Efficiency starts with a system that never breaks down in the first place!
Now it is time to follow up and turn business cards into real projects.
