Nico Joins Our Team Full-Time After Completing His Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

After successfully completing his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at TU Darmstadt, Nico is now strengthening our team in a full-time role. He brings valuable experience to the further development of HCP Sense.

However, he is no stranger to us. He has been part of our team for several years, contributing to various projects related to HCP Sense. His academic work provided crucial insights that helped improve our sensor technology.

In the fall/winter of 2021, Nico wrote his Bachelor’s thesis under Tobias’ supervision. The topic: “Development of a Force-Measurement Tensioner Based on the Impedance Measurement of Rolling Bearings.” This work led to two significant development projects for our system. These projects played a key role in advancing our technology and creating practical solutions.

After his thesis, Nico took on various roles within our company. He worked as a research assistant and student employee, focusing on test stand supervision and experimental data analysis. These experiences are particularly valuable for the further development of our sensor technology and data evaluation. With his deep knowledge of measurement technology, he gained valuable insights to optimize our sensor systems. Additionally, his analyses contributed to improving the accuracy of our measurement methods.

Now, Nico is taking on a key role in our test field. Currently, he is implementing load application on the LP02 test stand and conducting lubrication experiments. These tests enhance the performance of our system and provide reliable measurement data for our customers. In the future, it will be possible to test lubricants directly within the bearing under realistic conditions. This will optimize machine runtimes and maintenance strategies. The insights gained will further improve the efficiency and longevity of our systems.

Beyond that, Nico is working on new measurement methods to increase the precision and efficiency of our technology. His expertise helps us explore innovative solutions and prepare our systems for future challenges. Especially in industrial applications, precise and reliable measurements are essential. He will also collaborate with our development team to test and implement new concepts for data analysis.

With his extensive expertise, Nico is enhancing existing systems and exploring new applications for our sensor technology. In particular, predictive maintenance presents exciting opportunities. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, he will play a vital role in advancing our products.

We are excited to have Nico back on board and look forward to successful projects! 😉 Learn more about our team.
