At our “mother department” PMD, the lecture series “Rolling bearing technology” provides a deep and detailed insight into the subject of rolling bearings. Real rolling bearing experts are trained there. It is therefore a matter of honor that we can also contribute. Together with Steffen Puchtler, currently a doctoral student at PMD, Georg Martin reported on the theory of rolling bearing impedance – and how it can be used in practice for our “sensor bearing without sensor” to measure forces and monitor lubrication. The second half of the lecture continued with Martin Correns from Schaeffler.

Many thanks to Christoph Bienefeld and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eckhard Kirchner for the organization!
