After successfully completing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at TU Darmstadt, Nico has now joined us full-time.

“Back” because he is actually already a long-standing team member.

In fall/winter 2021, he wrote his bachelor’s thesis with Tobias on the topic of “Development of a force-measuring tension pulley based on the measurement of the impedance of rolling bearings”, which has since resulted in two development projects.
This was followed by various assignments as a student trainee and a working student. The focus was on the supervision of test benches and the evaluation of test data. Nico is now seamlessly continuing this work and is mainly responsible for our test field. He is currently working on implementing load application on the LP02 test bench and enabling lubrication tests. In future, we will be able to put your lubricants through their paces in our laboratory directly in the bearing.
